Unintentionally Funny, Must-Watch Bollywood Movies: Dil Bole Hadippa

When it comes to movies that fall under the Yash Raj Films banner, you can be sure about two things – big stars, and bigger hype. And Dil Bole Hadippa is no exception. Now, I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t have high expectations going into this movie. I mean, it Is a remake of a widely panned Amanda Bynes movie. And how can you possibly go wrong with a Hindi remake of a bad English movie, right? Right! Presenting the webcomic version of the awfulness, that is Dil Bole Hadippa.

ah you missed two colossal points!

    1) sheryl/rakhi skin show, afterall how much YRF tried to woo the frontbenchers in rampur!

    2) the mega speech that sardar-turned-hottie delivers in the end…

amazin read, only if you’d post more often!

    • sahilriz says:

Yea… I would’ve covered those points too, but for the fact that Toondoo doesn’t allow images that graphic. =p Which adds more weight to the “Go back to stick figures” argument that a lot of people have been making here, I guess. =)

I knew this would be coming the moment I stepped out of the cinema hall. “Rizwan is so going to slaughter the film on his blog”, went through my mind. And why not! The movie so deserves it. A waste of money and time.

  3. ajnabi says:

This is hilarious! But… can I say I prefer the stick figures to toondoo? Okay. I totally prefer the stick figures. 😀

  4. Hilarious! Not a fan of toondoo though. Please bring back the stick figures. Spielberg and Tom Cruise lookalikes not working. Where are the stick figures!

  5. Reuben says:

Awesome..absolutely not goin for this now!! 😀

  6. Urmi says:

+1 in support of the stick figures! But this comic was funny (and fun!) too :)

Freaking awesome webcomic man. Thanks to my PFC buddy who gave me this link.
Like max da vinci said, the itembombs shouldhave been a part of the webcomic. Nevertheless, apt treatment to the masterpiece.
Though our medium of expressions are different, the essence is quite similar.
    More power to us.

  11. Rushabh says:

“How to ruin the goodwill u earned after doing the Vishal Bhardwaj film.” Yup that’s the point of the film. hahaha. Man this is some really funny shit. plz keep doing all bollywood films. I m sure BW will give u lots of opportunity to make fun of. 😉

  12. ann says:

loved d sarcasm, and the last frame!!! hehehe!!

  13. aarkayne says:

dude…i am catching up on all your stuff backwards…so question for you – this one looks so great in color, why did you drop that in your later ones? Is it too much work?

in any case, the Pakistani General looks so much like Musharraf, i think I am going to choke on my tongue and die laughing !!!!

Awesome stuff…i think i am going to print all of this stuff, make a book and send Xmas gifts to all the directors that made these movies!!! Hopefully they attain redemption in their sorry lives that way 😉

    • Sahil Rizwan says:

Not that it’s too much work. But the software I used to create this comes with pre-generated avatars and expressions. So it’s a little limited in terms of animating. Much easier to just draw your own stick figures. Size-saver too!

By the way, that Pakistani general is Musharraf. Shahid Kapoor is a Tom Cruise avatar. XD

  14. Mohini says:

lol, but the stick figures are definitely missed.
How about a Victory Webcomic? Its a classic. Come on
Vijay Shekhawat (Victory, not obvious at all) The man who hits 6’s for every ball, knows no failure, vice, guile, or acting. WITH a song that goes: Balla uthaa, chakka lagaaa…
Its a request! Its also the only bollywood film i ever worked on. Given i ran like hell in the opposite professional direction, your spoof could just justify 3 months of my life im never seeing again..

    • Sahil Rizwan says:

Hehe, you know, I actually haven’t gotten around to seeing that movie yet. I’ve seen it in bits, though. Enough to tell me that I shouldn’t doubt your reservations about the film for a second. XD

  15. aditi says:
